Hugging Face will not connect
- Create a token with only the permissions needed for inference.
- Benchlet stores it in the iOS Keychain and validates it before showing the connection as ready.
- A consumer subscription does not automatically include API authorization or credits.
- Never paste a token into a support message or screenshot.
A cloud model will not run
- Confirm the exact model and provider still show as live.
- Review whether the provider reports free, paid, or price unavailable.
- Check the Hugging Face account’s credits, quota, token permissions, and provider availability.
- Retry only the failed target when that control is available in the installed build.
The Apple baseline is unavailable
The Apple Intelligence baseline requires a supported iPhone, supported OS, Apple Intelligence availability, and a ready system model. It is not a fallback runtime for arbitrary Hub repositories.
Your server will not connect
- Verify the OpenAI-compatible server is running and exposes a model-list endpoint.
- Use the same base URL the phone can reach.
- Use HTTPS for remote servers and whenever a key is required.
- Benchlet does not start the server, install models, execute shell commands, or train models.
Delete or export a decision
Open Library to inspect a saved comparison and share its report. Use the per-session delete control for one comparison, or Settings → Delete All Benchlet Data for the full local reset. Check the exported report before sharing because it can contain prompts and model outputs.
Report community content
Use the in-app Report action for the repository, then Hide it or block its creator if needed. You may also email chris@teryli.com with the public repository URL and a short description. Teryli Systems will review the report, update Benchlet safeguards when appropriate, and direct Hub-level removal requests to Hugging Face. Do not include private prompt text or credentials.
What to include in a support request
Include the Benchlet version and build, iPhone model, iOS version, route, exact model/provider name, and the visible error. Remove prompt text, outputs, tokens, server keys, and private endpoint details unless they are essential and you intentionally choose to share them.
